Natural Awakenings of the Coastal Carolinas

Mandala Yoga Center

“The Mandala Yoga Center is your place for wellness and joy,” introduces Rebecca Hieter, owner, instructor and school director. “The studio opened more than 10 years ago as Second Wind and rebranded nearly two years ago to what it exemplifies today.” Hieter’s certifications include RYT200, E-RYT500 and YACEP as well as a bachelor of arts in business administration.

The center offers a vast array of classes including beginner alignment and vinyasa, power flow, meditation, restorative and yoga nidra, kids’ class series, yoga for back care, chair yoga for mobility, aerial acro, yoga wall, hot yoga, gentle yoga, goat yoga, intermediate and advanced lessons, standup paddleboard yoga, monthly workshops and more as well as 200-hour registered yoga teacher training starting in September and February.

“We offer responsible yoga by well-trained and certified teachers for all student levels. Whatever you desire, we offer to address the way you need to grow and let go,” adds Hieter. When asked what is the best aspect of the studio, Hieter answered, “Wellness and joy are aided by our memberships that include massage and reflexology. Community events like spa days, free classes and full moon events add additional value to our scheduled offerings.”
